Counselling and Psychotherapy in Wokingham, Berkshire & Online

A space for reconnection and repair.

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to be here

If you’ve found your way here, something may already be asking for your attention, or you may be thinking about making a change.

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. You might feel unsure, hopeful, hesitant, or simply tired of managing things on your own. Whatever has brought you here, we can begin there.

Therapy offers a space to pause and reflect, where you don’t need to have everything figured out, and where you can speak openly and be met with care and respect. Some people come with something specific they want to explore; others arrive with a sense that something doesn’t feel quite right.

You may be curious about how therapy works, whether it might help, or whether we would feel like a good fit. I hope these pages give you a sense of how I work and whether it feels right for you. If you would like to talk things through, I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call, a chance to connect and consider whether working together feels like the right next step.

About Me

I am a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist (MBACP) based in Wokingham, Berkshire, offering face-to-face and online therapy for adults aged 18 and over. I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and feel heard.

My interest in psychotherapy comes from a curiosity about how our experiences and relationships shape us, and how change can become possible even when life feels overwhelming or we feel stuck. I aim to create a reflective and supportive space where understanding can deepen and growth can unfold.

Starting therapy can feel daunting. Together, we can gently explore recurring patterns, make sense of your experiences, and support you in developing a more balanced and compassionate relationship with yourself and others. Having experienced therapy myself, I understand both the vulnerability of the first step and the potential for meaningful change.

I have worked across the NHS, community services and the voluntary sector. I hold an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton and am a registered member of the BACP, working in line with their Ethical Framework. I attend regular supervision and ongoing professional development to support ethical and reflective practice.

As an integrative therapist, I draw on relational, humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT approaches, tailoring therapy to you as an individual.

About Therapy

Our early experiences can shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and make sense of the world. Patterns formed in childhood often continue into adulthood, quietly influencing our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. When life feels difficult, these patterns may be triggered in ways that feel confusing or overwhelming.

Life today brings its own pressures. Work, relationships, family, health, and the demands of daily life can feel heavy, and how we respond is influenced not only by what is happening now, but also by past experiences, including those we may not fully recognise.

Therapy provides a space to slow down, reflect, and explore where you are. It allows you to notice patterns, understand how past and present connect, and find ways to respond differently. For some, simply gaining this awareness can bring relief; for others, it opens the door to change and growth.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on a range of approaches to tailor the work to you, your experiences, and what feels most helpful at this point in your life.

Working Together

I work in an integrative and relational way, meaning therapy is shaped around you rather than following a fixed path. We may focus on what feels most present in your life, or gently explore how past experiences and relationship patterns continue to influence how you feel and relate to others. Bringing these threads together often creates clarity and relief.

The therapeutic relationship is central to my work. I offer a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space to reflect on what feels difficult, and consider what might need to shift. We move at your pace, with the aim of helping you find a way forward that feels meaningful and grounded.

What next?

Free 15-minute introductory call

A short call to share what has brought you here, ask questions, and hear a little about how I work. It gives you a sense of whether I feel like the right person to support you.

Initial 50-minute session

Our first full session to explore things in more depth and begin to get a sense of one another. I will ask some questions and explain how I work, and you are welcome to ask anything about the process. There is no obligation to continue, it is simply an opportunity to experience what working together might feel like.

Continuing Therapy

If we decide to continue, therapy can be short-term or open-ended, depending on what you are looking for. Some people focus on a specific concern, while others choose a more open-ended space for deeper exploration over time. We will discuss what feels right for you and review this as we go. When the time comes to end, we will bring our work to a close thoughtfully and with care.
